Scottish Highland Games drum major events are found in almost every part of the world. WDMA is host to the U.S. National Drum Major Championships and support local events.

World Drum Major Association, Inc. (WDMA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating, promoting, and preserving the history of flourishing drum majors.  WDMA continues to award the largest amount of monetary and tuition sponsored incentives and scholarships for drum majors, created the largest competitive solo circuit for scholastic drum majors, provides a serious alternative for education, DrumMajorCamp.com, and has increased participation at highland games drum major events at record numbers in the Western United States.
